High Performance Coach, Tier 1 Performance Tennis Academy

Born in Argentina, Facundo Tumosa brings a wealth of international experience to Tier 1 Performance Tennis Academy. A former top-ranked junior player, Facundo achieved a career-high ITF Juniors ranking of top 250 and was ranked in the top 8 in Argentina for U18 players before transitioning to collegiate tennis.

Facundo played Division 1 tennis at Northern Arizona University (NAU), where he was a key contributor to the team’s success. During his time at NAU, he won two conference championships, competed as the No. 1 doubles player, and played singles positions 1 through 3. In 2019, he was named Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year, a testament to his outstanding performance and leadership on the court.

Following his playing career, Facundo served as the Assistant Coach for Northern Arizona University’s women’s tennis team from 2023-2024. His coaching experience at the collegiate level further developed his expertise in player development, strategy, and team dynamics.

At Tier 1, Facundo specializes in high-performance training, focusing on technical precision, mental toughness, and maximizing each player's potential. His personalized coaching approach and deep knowledge of the game have made him an invaluable asset to the academy. Facundo is known for his ability to connect with players and foster a supportive environment, helping them excel both on and off the court.

Kevin joined Tier 1 High Performance in September 2023. Born and raised in the state of Maryland, Kevin played Division 1 tennis for the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he specialized in doubles. Although from a small state, Kevin grew up training at JTCC, where he trained with Top Ranked ATP Player, Frances Tiafoe.

After graduating college, Kevin went straight into coaching high-performance tennis, developing players

at the blue-chip level and collegiate level. Some of his notable achievements include coaching Khary Pryce, who played at Cornell and is now the Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at Harvard, and Mukundh Boopathi, freshmen at John’s Hopkins University.

Kevin is excited to share his expertise and passion for the sport of tennis. He has a knack for helping players of all levels and ages to improve their game and we are excited to have him as a part of our

team.
